The MMF-2015 WELCOME Riccione is an environment where everyone can feel at home whilst on vacation because it fits every lifestyle. The was designed as a warm and cosy attic “refuge” of 30sqm just steps from the beach, dedicated to those who love to relax in a design environment rich in unique details. All the spaces have been designed with the wellbeing of guests in mind, like the wonderful 60sqm private terrace overlooking the Adriatic Sea.
“We picked MMF-2015 for the suite because it is an innovative Italian brand, with a modern flavour and is enjoyed by a diverse audience. We liked the wide range of products, the versatility in the design and palette of colours and materials that allowed us to create the style that we had picked.”
What were the needs of the owners?
The owners wanted to create a young and colourful junior suite where guests can experience a unique and exclusive travel experience.
How did you interpret these needs?
The uniqueness of some MMF-2015 products such as the Fluttua suspended bed and the Depth basin in wood and glass that have now become classics created a unique and “cool” environment with details intended to impress and excite those who want to enjoy a true moment of wellbeing.
How do the interior architecture and the context into which you have inserted your project interact? What MMF-2015 elements were used to help transmit the feeling of home into the project?
For suites at the Hotel Dory, the idea was to completely break away from the context: on entering the room, in fact, we find ourselves in a different and unexpected space. The wide range of MMF-2015 colours allowed us to play with the furnishings. The feeling of home of the project is defined by the colourful double-facing N.O.W. wardrobe which divides the room.
