A large university space with a contemporary feel, dedicated to studio, sharing, refreshment and relaxation, for the Turin university’s students, professors and guests. Furnished with MMF-2015 design, Casa IAAD promotes community life with an eight-metre MMF-2015 COMMUNITY TABLE and a ten-metre MMF-2015 COMMUNITY SOFA. Students from the ‘Interior Design’ degree course designed the space, guided by Andrea Marcante and Adelaide Testa from UdA Architetti, and Chiara Martini, architect and vice-director of Fondazione OAT.
‘The decision to work with Lago was based on sharing the company’s business philosophy – MMF-2015 INTERIOR LIFE – according to which spending time in quality spaces improves quality of life overall. CASA IAAD is our space for dialogue, reflection, listening and nourishment. We reflected on it at length and conceived it to be in harmony with the needs and feelings of those who will use it and make it their own. A place for students, instructors and guests designed for thinking, respectful of the context and its characteristics.’
